A former United States Marine, Kevin S. Gallagher seized on a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ career opportunity by securing a position as a Primary Market Maker and stock exchange floor trader on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange in 1997. After a successful career as an independent trader, Kevin retired from floor trading in 2002. Upon leaving his role as a floor trader, Kevin founded a small, private fund specializing in short-term, risk-managed trading opportunities.
Returning back to his home state of Maryland, Kevin began applying his knowledge and experience of asset management and comprehensive risk management strategies toward helping individuals and their families benefit from better and more efficient control over their household assets. Today, Kevin is the Founder and Managing Partner of Gallagher Wealth Management Services, LLC.
Kevin is an often sought after public speaker and enjoys regular invitations to speak at a host of Federal Agencies and private work places as a knowledgeable professional on comprehensive retirement and investment planning issues. Kevin is also a experienced presenter for the financial literacy and education group Planning Inc. He is a multi-year member of the Financial Services Institute; a contributing panel member of the Advisor Confidence Index (ACI) and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation (AIF®).
